Installing SonarQube issue -

sonarqube

(Craig Hall) #1

Hi

I’ve installed SonarQube, setup the sql database and all looks fine. I’m now stuck while running the website it’s just hanging…
The logs don’t really help me…anybody experienced a similar issue and can help me troubleshoot the issue.

Hello,

it sees like something on the client side (web browser) intercepts the communication.
Do you have some antivir/firewall kind of software that could negatively impact this?

Greetings,
Kris

Hi Krzyszof

Thanks for the reply…yes, I have Symantec Antivirus software and I am behind a firewall.

Have I missed some documentation on SonarQube configuration that highlights what I need to configure in regards to antivirus software and firewalls…any help would be greatly appreciated?

Regards

Craig

Hi Krzyszof

After sitting with my network team and trying a few things we can now load SonarQube.

We can only browse using the IP address from our development machines but not when on the server using localhost:9000, it just sits in the SonarQube loading screen.

Regards

Craig

Hello Craig,

After sitting with my network team and trying a few things we can now load SonarQube.

Glad yo see you made progress.

but not when on the server using localhost:9000, it just sits in the SonarQube loading screen.

What browser are you using on the server? Can you try incognito mode?
How is the browser locale set? (there have been issues when browser local was unknown - https://jira.sonarsource.com/browse/SONAR-10841)

Regards,
Kris
