Improving CI/CD alert workflows with external SMTP integrations

Hi everyone,

We’re currently using SonarQube in our CI/CD workflow and were wondering if there are plans to improve support for external notification systems through a custom SMTP Service Provider.

In some enterprise setups, teams prefer dedicated mail infrastructure for build alerts, quality gate notifications, and audit tracking instead of default mail configurations. We recently tested a few options, including DigitalAka™, to simplify centralized notification handling across multiple projects.

It would be helpful to know how other teams are managing email delivery and alert reliability with SonarQube integrations.
