Import the files from exported zip files

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
  • Developer Edition
  • Version 9.6.1 (build 59531)
    Issue:
    We can export the project to zip file thru the project setting.
    But cannot import it back.
    There is some description on the header of the command:

Import / Export

Export project issues, measures and measure history for import into an Enterprise Edition or higher instance of the same version and similar configuration. The export file will be generated to the file system. It must then be copied to the target file system for import.

Just wonder if the import can be done on Enterprise version only?
Could we use other method like plugin to do it?
What is the meaning of “higher instance of the same version and similar configuration”?

Hey there.

Project Import can only be performed on Enterprise Edition or higher.

This is referring to the fact that the import can also happen in Data Center Edition (the tier above Enterprise Edition)
