It’s not clear to me whether this is the correct category. We have “Data Center Edition v10.8.1 (101195)NO LONGER ACTIVE”.
We have quality gates with metrics like “Blocker Issues”, “Critical Issues”, and “Vulnerabilities” all labeled with “Standard Experience”, and the edit interface is sort of nudging me to convert these to MQR.
We have created a new quality gate that we want to be compatible with the older QG, but with some additional conditions for new code. However, we are unable to add the exact same conditions to the new QG that exist in the old QG. In the list of available conditions, there is “Blocker Severity Issues”, which seems like it would be equivalent to “Blocker Issues”, but there is nothing similar to “Critical Issues” and “Vulnerabilities”. I do see other conditions in the “Issues” block, but it’s not clear to me whether any of them would be equivalent to the other two old ones.
TBH, I don’t remember which version added it, but by 2025.1 - the current (supported) LTA, there’s a toggle between standard and MQR mode.
It sounds like maybe your server is in MQR mode, with some QG conditions that are holdovers from Standard mode. That would be why you’re prompted to switch them out: they don’t match, which would make the results of a failing Quality Gate confusing. And since they don’t match, you’re not always going to find 1-to-1 translations from one mode’s conditions and metrics to the other’s.
