Hi, I want to update version 5.6 to 8.1, what are the intermediate steps

  • Sonarqube 5.6 Lts
  • I want to update to 8.1 Community edition
  • I would first have to update to 6.1??

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.
For your upgrade path, I would recommend to start from scratch a new SonarQube 8.1, as 5.6 was released once upon a time and a very long time ago…
In case you really want to upgrade your SonarQube from 5.6 to 8.1, you need to upgrade through each LTS: 5.6 --> 6.7 LTS --> 7.9 LTS --> 8.1
