Hey friends at Sonar 👋

I’m evaluating options to onboard a dozen of mid-sized projects. One of the main decision factors is - _of course_ - how much it will cost.

Try as I might, this information is hard to find. The [Plans & Pricing](https://www.sonarsource.com/plans-and-pricing/) page says:

> SonarQube plan pricing starts at $34 monthly for analysis of up to 100k LOC. Other LOC increments are available.

… and this is lovely! Where can I find information about these LOC increments?

The [product documentation](https://docs.sonarsource.com/sonarqube-cloud/administering-sonarcloud/managing-subscription/subscription-plans) says:

> Team: Up to 1.9M LOC

… and again, no info about the actual pricing 🙈.

Now, for some reason 😇 I happen to know the product, so I logged in with a dummy account, went to the “Upgrade” UI and sure enough, there was the select box with the LOC vs price buckets.

Putting myself in the shoes of someone who has to build a case to get approval for a subscription, not having the actual information about how much the subscription can cost is an instant showstopper.

May I suggest to put (back) the LOC vs monthly price on the “Plans & Pricing” page?

Hey @JB.L! Personally, I see your point, however, I have checked with our marketing team and they have let me know that it is a conscious decision to display it like this.

Hey @andres, thanks for the answer!

I sure hope that people from the marketing team are keeping an eye on this Community. This kind of d…ubious move is hurting Sonar’s reputation.
