Google Workspace SAML integration not working with SonarCloud

Unexpected Behavior During Google Workspace SAML Integration with SonarCloud

While setting up the Google Workspace SAML integration in SonarCloud, we’re encountering the following error from the endpoint:

https://api.sonarcloud.io/authentication/connections

Error response:

  "message": "Request to create a Connection couldn't be created or executed successfully"
}

Additional Details

• Despite the error, if the page is refreshed, SonarCloud displays the integration as active.
• However, the integration is not actually functional—authentication via SAML does not work as expected.
• We have already enabled auth with Github

Will this issue repeat itself if we remove the SAML integration and try to implement it once again?

No it won’t. You should be able to remove and add the SAML integration again without any issues.
