# Getting warning: Add the 'const' modifier to

Please provide

- Operating system: Windows 11
- Visual Studio version: 17.12.5
- SonarQube for Visual Studio plugin version: 8.11.0.11944
- Programming language you’re coding in: c#
- Is connected mode used:
  - SonarQube Server : \* Enterprise Edition

- v2025.1 (102418)

And a thorough description of the problem / question: Started getting these warnings in the IDE that really shouldnt be popping up IMHO…

Can you explain why this is a false positive? And also add the tag C# or dotnet to it?

Hey o/

Did you find a solution? I tried to remove bin and obj folders but no change. My friend doesn’t have this but I can see errors.
