Getting an error "SonarQube is stopped" with JDK 22 version

SonarQube Version : sonarqube-10.6.0.92116
JAVA JDK Version: 22

Getting this error. Please provide some guidance.

Hi,

The SonarQube server requires JDK 17 and it doesn’t support newer JDK versions.

Source: Server requirements & SonarQube

Applies only to a server installation from the ZIP file.

  • Oracle JRE or OpenJDK
  • Java version 17
  • Recommendation: Use Java CPU (critical patch update) releases

I have downgraded JDK version to 17 but still ended up with error.

Unfortunately, the console log doesn’t provide enough information to diagnose the startup issue. It’s necessary to examine the other log files for any errors.
