Error While starting Statupsonar.bat {FATAL | WRAPPER | Unable to Open Wrapper.conf file}

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
    Version Used : SonarQube 8.0 , SonarQube 7.9.2
  • what are you trying to achieve : Want to analyse and create a sonar report for project
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this : downloading developers version sonarqube 8.0 and 7.9.2 .
    Modified the sonar.properties and started the StartSonar.bat

Error facing is:

Fatal | Wrapper | Unable to open Wrapper.conf at “path/to/wrapper/file”
Please help asap.

Welcome to the community!

There’s not a lot to go on here. At a guess, the user in question doesn’t have permissions to access the file.
