Currently we have set up Sonarqube Developer Edition - Version 10.0 (build 68432) with the docker image sonarqube:developer. We would like to upgrade it to the latest LTS version (2025.1). But, it seems that there are 2 different docker images as below

- **lts** -developer - Version is still 9.9.8.100196
- 2025- **lta** -developer - Version is 2025.1.0.102418

So, we would like to know if 2025-lta-developer is a LTS version? Also, the difference between LTS and LTA versions.

After reading it, your primary takeaway will probably be that what Sonar has previously referred to as a long-term support (or LTS) version of SonarQube, is now being referred to as a long-term active (or LTA) version of SonarQube. v9.9 LTS? No more. v9.9 LTA. And when you ask us when v10.x LTS will be released, we’ll tell you when v10.x LTA is coming (once we know). Why the change? It appears t…
