Disable anonymous statistics freezes IntelliJ

Please provide

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • SonarLint plugin version: 6.8.0.50884

Description of the problem / question:
When I disable anonymous statistics and apply the settings changes, it freezes IntelliJ.
Configuring SonarQube connection is not necessary.
