Delegated Auth With Community Edition

Which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
SonarQube Community Edition Version 7.1 (build 11001)

What are you trying to achieve?
I’m trying to understand if SAML or GitHub Auth is supported on the Community Edition. I don’t see anything related to Edition requirements on https://docs.sonarqube.org/latest/instance-administration/delegated-auth/ but there is a reference to the Enterprise Edition required for SAML and GitHub Auth on https://docs.sonarqube.org/display/PLUG/Plugin+Library.

We are currently using LDAP based auth and would like to switch to either SAML or GitHub Auth. Trying to understand if that is supported with the Community Edition.

Any ideas?

Hi Mike,

That page is a bit long in the tooth… as is your version of SonarQube.

When (:smile:) you upgrade to 8.3, the current version, you’ll find SAML and GitHub integration built in to Community Edition. (More in the docs.)
