Connected mode support for VS Insider version

Please provide

  • Operating system: Windows
  • Visual Studio version: Version: 18.0.0 Insiders [11104.47]
  • SonarQube for Visual Studio plugin version: 8.28.0.14489
  • Programming language you’re coding in: C++/Python
  • Is connected mode used: Yes
    • SonarQube Server 2025.1

And a thorough description of the problem / question:

Any plan on supporting on the short term the plugin in connected mode for the Insiders version? When trying to bind, I get the following error in the log:

[Connected Mode > Binding > Manual] Binding failed due to: The format of value ‘[11104.47]’ is invalid.

Guess its related with the version number of the Insiders version.

Hi, thank you for your report. We’ve actually fixed this here, however we haven’t yet released this. The release is planned for next week, however if you’d like to start using it now, you can install this build Cirrus CI

This issue was fixed in version 8.29, the latest available version is 8.30. Please ensure that your extension is updated.

Thank you, I was somehow running on 8.28 and VS did not notify me that there already was an 8.30. Thank you Georgii also for the quick response!
