Codesmell not assigned to user with random number in login name

Sonar Version 9.3.0.51899

The default behaviour of Sonarqube when users are authenticated with external systems is to add a random 5 number to the login field.
Those users cannot be assigned to codesmells, where users without this random number can be assigned.

Is there definitely the random number in the login field the reason for this behaviour and how can I solve it to assign these users as well?

Hi,

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

9.3 → 9.9 → 10.0 (last step optional)
