Cannot install Sonarqube for Visual Studio (with VS Community Edition running on Parallels)

I am running Visual Studio Community Edition (latest version 18.10.1) on a Parallels VM on Mac hardware. I have downloaded the VSIX but when I run that I get an error:

This extension is not installable on any currently install products.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi @cuperman,

I guess your Parallels VM runs on any macOS device with an ARM chip (M1, M2, …)?

SonarQube for Visual Studio is not suppoted on ARM devices as of yet; please see this roadmap item.

It would be great if you could provide the Install Log, it may also include additional information.

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to respond. Yep, running an ARM. I did see that I could not install the plugin for VS on Mac but hoped that would work for VM.
