I’ve created a trial organization in SonarQube Cloud via Azure DevOps and added a project from Azure DevOps. Now I want to add collegues from my team to the organization in SonarQube Cloud.
Two of my collegues tried to log in and after the request for access they got the message that the admin will be notified about the request and that they will get a email when the admin gives access to them.
But as an admin I don’t see notifications in any way.
When I try to add them by typing in the the exact emailadress the use to log in to Azure DevOps I still get the message that they have to log in to SonarQube Cloud first and that the emailadress is not found.
What you describe is generally expected for SonarQube Cloud organizations: users need to have logged in to SonarQube Cloud at least once before they can be added to the organization.
Have a look at the following documentation pages related to onboarding users to your Organization:
I Tried to describe that my two collegues followed the instructions and that they logged in to SonarQube Cloud through the Azure DevOps option. They got the message that the admin was notified. But I as an admin don’t see such notifications or I don’t know where to find them.
For us the trial is useless if the onboarding of our team members doesn’t succeed.
