I understand from posts such as this that we should have received alerts when we reached 90% of our allocated lines of code. Who do those alerts go to? Anyone listed as ADMIN
? Going back through emails and I can not find a notification. Is this configured anywhere?
Hey there.
The alert should be sent to the address listed as the billing e-mail under the Billing & Upgrade section of the org (sorry for the aggressive arrow)
when I click edit, I’m over at the billing portal powered by stripe, and I don’t want to change that email that goes to the billing responsible party. And they shouldn’t be the only notification alert recipient.
It would be ideal if utilization/billing alerts could also be sent to technical folks who would understand what it means and could push to do something about it. Assuming these alerts were sent, they are probably buried in my boss’s email somewhere. Or maybe even send to a monitoring platform/log event ingestion.
Hey @ccthomps
Thanks for the feedback. I’m going to forward this over to the team responsible for Billing to make sure that:
- We are still sending these notifications to users who have been migrated to Stripe. I think we are, but I’m not 100% sure.
- So we can get your feedback over to the relevant PM
Hey @ccthomps
Thank you for the feedback, as @Colin correctly guessed, the email that you see in the Stripe Customer Portal is the one we use to send notifications about LOC limit being reached (or about to).
As for the feedback about being able to consider having a different email for it, thank you, we will share it internally with our PM.
Meanwhile, you can see your LOC usage on the Billing and Upgrade page.
Best regards,
Quentin
Hello again @ccthomps,
I’m really sorry, my first message was wrong. We don’t have LOC limit notification with our new billing portal, we are working on it to bring it back to life. For now the only way is to check on your Billing and Upgrade page.
Best regards,
Quentin
